Stay Informed

There are SO MANY ways to check on your child's progress in 4th grade.  Here are a few things you can do to make it easier for you.

You can receive emails about your child's grades, when they take an AR test and from this blog.  This means all the info you need will be sent to your email address so you only have to check one thing, instead of 3!  (Trust me, this is way easier.  I have all of this set up for my son and it's fabulous.)

To get the emails you need to:

Blog:  Type your email address into the "Follow By Email" box.

AR: click here  Login: 9 digit student number   Password: first letter of their first name, first letter of their last name    Up in the top righthand corner you'll see "email setup."  Click on this and fill out the information.  This subscription will carry through each year that your child does AR.

Pinpoint:  click here  Login and password were given out at Open House, or sent home the following day if you did not attend.  (It's the same one from last year!)   On the lefthand side, near the bottom, click on "profile" and fill in the information.  Click save!  Click on Home in the top lefthand corner.  Click on "email subscriptions" (right under "profile").  Under "student assignments" choose the day of the week you'd like to receive an email that will include your child's overall grades.  Also choose which email address you'd like to use (home, work or other).  You can also choose the classes you'd like to see in the email, as well as select a minimum grade notification.  This means that if your child's grade falls below this setting, you'll get an email.
